Subatomic particles forever partake of this unceasing dance of annihilation and creation. In fact, subatomic particles are this unceasing dance of annihilation and creation.

How so?

This twentieth-century discovery, with all its psychedelic implications, is not a new concept. In fact, it is very similar to the way that much of the earth’s population, including the Hindus and the Buddhists, view their reality.

I don't think there are very good parallels to draw between subatomic particles and Buddhist or Hindu Mysticism.

But anyway, thanks for the link ~C.  Be the human dancer and the dance!

Matthew,

it's only a metaphor. and a good metaphor at that.

From your link, ”The metaphor of the cosmic dance thus unifies ancient mythology, religious art and modern physics.

I don't see how.  I still think that's a stretch.

And I'm still not clear on how subatomic particles “are the unceasing dance of annihilation and creation.”  Because they make up matter?  Because they are a very small component of our respective bodies?  Of all things that we are aware of that live and die?  Or is that quote trying to say something about the uncertainty principle of subatomic particles?  Color me confused.
