Check out this YouTube video of Ken Wilber explaining how to stage a second-tier protest. For those who don't understand the color references that the bald dude is talking about, check out Spiral Dynamics.
In short, with all the hand gestures and hifalutin jargons, KDub just wanted to say that we should try to meet people where they're at :)

Thanks for this, it was very helpful! I completely agree with KW, but I think there is a huge likelyhood that many people may misunderstand the idea of the chameleon Second Tier… I think it might be taken to mean that no matter what you do it’s cool, and all Second Tierey, as long as you are trying to “fit in” to a level. But since Second Tier is all about working for the health of the whole spiral, there are many things that aren’t going to be such great ideas. For example a Second Tier tactic isn’t going to be to go into a Red crowd and start inciting violence, just ‘cause that’s what the Red crowd tends to want to do. No, a Second Tier is going to go into a Red crowd and look for late Red and/or maybe Blueish tactics that will make sense to the Red folks while encouraging them to use their current value systems to find a healthy solution to their situation. In other words, Second Tier/Integral isn’t about fitting in for the sake of fitting in, but for the sake of helping people be healthier wherever they are. I think with that qualification, KW’s thoughts are exceedingly useful.
I’ve been practicing my Red and Blue talk for a while now. I’ve gotten really good at convincing police officers to change their minds! (Though for some reason, I can’t quite get a handle on judges… :-)

I really appreciated this video and directness that Ken delivered this information. I can see what Turtle may mean about the confusion of yellow sliding around the spiral. The way the stages work the lower levels can’t see the higher levels so it depends on who is confused as to the action taken to clear the confusion. :)
