Friday Five: The Future

1) 10 years ago what did you think you would be doing now?
I thought I'd be retired by now sipping Martini under a coconut tree. I have yet to find a coconut tree here in the Emerald City.
2) Where do you think you will be in 5 years from now?
I think I'd be visiting somewhere in Europe doing the hanky panky.
3) Do you live life one day at a time or look to the future?
The future is amorphous, the past is an illusion, all is always now. I live in the present to survive. I look to the past and the future when daydreaming.
4) Do you wish you could go back in time and undo something in your life?
Um, I don't know. I think if I undo something in the past I won't be the same person I would come back to. I like the way I am right now. But ask me the same question again 5 years from now.
5) If you could send a message back in time and give a younger version of yourself some advice, what would it be?
Don't climb that fence with sharp pointed ends because you will impale your right hand. Ooops! Too late!
